Litenow is replacing the internal and external communal lighting in four social housing blocks in Sunbury. The existing 2D fluorescent lights are being replaced with an LED lighting system which also incorporates emergency lighting within the new scheme.
The project involves the installation of a new cable containment system, rewiring of the lighting circuits and the provision of new distribution boards.
In early 2013 a low energy landscape lighting scheme will also be installed to further enhance the security and provide reassurance for tenants and visitors to the blocks.
In addition to the energy saving lighting, the blocks are being clad with an insulating material which will reduce the carbon footprint of the buildings.
